lower blood pressure immediately

The question is about high blood pressure.?

I believe I had a very serious allergic reaction to mold, it happened very suddenly. I was told that your blood pressure goes down during a very serious allergic reaction but mine was very very high. I am now being told that it was not an allergic reaction because of the fact that my blood pressure was so very high and that also because I recovered within an hour of being treated, (they did not give me adrenaline but immediately gave me chewable tablets). Is it possible to have a very serious allergic reaction and have high blood pressure and not low blood pressure? or is it only considered a very serious allergic reaction if your blood pressure goes down? And is it normal to recover from an attack within an hour?

Yes, it can happen. What they gave you for your allergy is what caused your blood pressure to go up. It did work on the allergy but you also had a reaction to what ever was given to you for it. Find out what it was they gave you and talk to your doctor.
